Selected environmental
projects:
I serve the environmental needs
of local governments, individuals and attorneys, particularly in
areas relating to contaminated property, air and water
pollution, sewers, and land use. The following is a brief
description of selected environmental projects.
•
I represented a Fortune 500 company accused of contaminating an
industrial property.
•
I performed environmental due diligence on behalf of a local
government for acquisition of a former industrial site. The
former industrial site was subject to an environmental cleanup at no
cost to the local government and is now a public park.
•
I represented a private developer seeking access to a public sewer
system. The developer obtained access and was able to complete
the project.
•
I defended an industrial facility in litigation challenging
environmental permits issued for construction and operation of the
facility. The defense was successful at trial and on appeal.
The industrial facility is operating today.
